Our 2014 is definitely off to a good start. Andrew and I finished the quarter page part of the layout phase. I know we still have a long way and a lot more work ahead of us but it's very exciting to see the book start to take on a new life beyond the text! Andrew sketched seven versions of the text and I got to pick and choose which versions I wanted.
The craft of illustrating is so foreign to me. Fortunately, Andrew brings with him so much of talent and expertise to this process. I'm very thankful to be able to work with and learn from him.
